If, like me, you love your literature, then you’ll be pleased to know that this month boasts a smorgasbord of amazing festivals throughout the UK.
I thought I’d take a moment to highlight a few:
University of East Anglia Spring 2014 Literary Festival (5th Feb – 2nd April)
UEA have pushed the boat out this year with guest appearances from the likes of Alistair Campbell, Joanna Trollope and, Booker Prize Winner, Eleanor Catton.
Winter Words Book Festival 2014 (14th – 23rd Feb)
This year’s Winter Words Festival features a variety of authors, presenters, adventurers, photographers and broadcasters, including Sally Magnusson, Sir Chris Bonington, Neil Oliver, Mike McCartney, Tracey Thorn, Andy Hall and many more.
Jewish Book Week (22nd Feb – 2nd March)
Jewish Book Week is organised by the Jewish Book Council whose aim is to promote the reading of books on all aspects of Jewish thought and culture. The festival features book launches, readings, author signings, debate, film, performance, walking tours, music, workshops.
Bath Literature Festival (28th Feb – 9th March)
Guests include Jennifer Saunders, Germaine Greer, Jonathan Dimbleby and Amy Chua.
