This is the End…of the Month

The end of January is fast approaching and with it the end of this blog’s first month. It’s been a doozy; full of laughter, tears, heartache and all of them mine.

I’d been putting off blogging for so long with all the usual excuses: I haven’t got the time, I haven’t got anything worth saying, what’s a blog? Never heard of it before – the list goes on. Then the Zero to Hero challenge came along and I thought, why not? Now, with Zero to Hero drawing to a close, I can’t help but think that I should’ve done this so much sooner, I’ve been missing out.

I’ve met some fascinating people and discovered some amazing blogs over the last month. It’s amazing to see some of the torture…challenges that others have set themselves. And then there’s the blogging community I never knew existed. I’ve received so much support and kind words from you all over such a short period of time and I’m genuinely touched. It makes me happy knowing that you enjoy my work, especially my fiction.

Thank you all!

Before I go, I want to highlight some of my favourite posts from the past month in no particular order.

  1. I am so glad I found the writers’ community – whether through blogs or Twitter – and I strongly believe it keeps me motivated and helps during the writing process. And it’s so much fun!
Thanks for linking to my blog! 🙂

  2. I actually could not have said it better myself, Chris. I may have mentioned my purple sparkle disco pants or my drinking buddy the unicorn, but other than that, perfectly expressed how I feel. I jumped on a February photo challenge to fill the void the Zero to Hero Challenge will leave when it’s done. Luckily, I also have chocolate. And Booze.

Thanks for the shout out and please, don’t stop blogging. I’ve grow accustomed to your posts and your comments 😀

  3. It’s been great reading over your blog and I look forward to reading more! February should be interesting with how short it is 🙂

Thanks for putting my post in your highlights, it made my day and now I’m all smiles 😀

  4. It’s nice to hear another blogger getting as much out of the experience as I do. 🙂 I’ll be sure to check out all the other posts you mention. 😀 Can never meet enough new bloggers!
