Round-up – ZTH Day 23

Okay, so today’s challenge was to do a roundup of at least three blogs that have piqued my attention of recent which would be great if everyone’s blog posts weren’t so interesting.

It’s taken me all night (no, really! All night!) but I’ve narrowed it down to a few.

Boom! How do you like me now? by tourmama616

Tourmama616’s blog, The Playground, is by far one of the craziest, wackiest, and hilarious blogs I’ve read in a long time. Her introductions and writing style has me in stitches (and I’m not just saying that because she can use a sword) – check her out.

These Boring Parts by H. M. Brooks Writes

I enjoy this blog for the bitesize writing tips and snippets of well written prose that Hesthermay posts. It’s fun to see how another writer’s mind works at times.

People watching can be good for your writing by Arran Bhansal

Arran’s look at the benefits of people watching is insightful and quirky. I can’t help but agree with what he says.

That’s my top three for this time. I’m look forward to seeing yours. If anyone has any suggestions of new blogs I should check out, feel free to post them in the comments below.

  1. Well, don’t I feel honored… 😀

I recommend the following blogs/websites: – Jodie writes about writing and has great discussions in her comment sections. It’s a great place to find like-minded writers. – I think every writer should know the Write Practice. It’s awesome sauce. – There’s a ton of good stuff to read up on this website. Great for writer’s who are (almost) ready to get published.

  2. Awww, shucks, Chris! That review is going on my first book jacket once the publishers and agents start beating down my door, likely as a direct result of this glowing recommendation. I’ll even send you a signed copy for half of the retail price.
    Just kidding.
You have to pay full price 😀

      1. Oh, it will probably be a lot… I’ll likely be ripping people off in order to achieve my million dollar goal faster. Free shipping will depend on where I have to send it to. Shipping is expensive in Sweden, but once Amazon picks it up, you’ll likely get free super-saver shipping. Are they brilliant, or what?

      2. Deal (placing sword back in my rifle bag. Yes. You read that right. I have to carry my swords around in a rifle bag. And I’m completely anti-gun. Riding the subway is fun. I get some great looks. “Oh no! Hahaha, don’t worry. Yes, it’s a rifle bag, but I only have swords in there. Is this seat free?”
